FOUNDER PRESIDENT

Late Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, popularly known as ‘KVG’ was a true Gandhian in spirit and action and has devoted his entire life in changing the destinies of the large rural mass of Sullia taluk. Born in 1928, in an agricultural family, he is a BHAGEERATHA who has brought JNANA GANGA to this small town and made Sullia a VIDYA KASHI. Powered by the visionary leadership of Late Dr. KVG, the academy of Liberal Education today is a registered body with more than fifty educational Institutions. He is the source of inspiration to all. He is a man of many dimensions. He is a model agriculturist, an educationist, a patron of fine arts and cultural endeavors, a social reformer par excellence and a philanthropist of great stature. All these have made him a living legend. Amashree Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda a man who dares to dream and works equally hard to make this dreams come true. An architect of Modern Sullia and a visionary amer with a vision “son of the soil”.Late Sri Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda’s consistent endeavors have turned his dream into reality. Son of the soil that he is chose Sullia and changed it into an educational landmark.

It was the dream and demand of the people of Sullia to have a pre Pre-University college which provides quality education. Keeping in view of this, the KVG Charitable Trust(R.)Sullia, the pioneers in Rural Education ventured into starting K.V.G. Amarajyothi Pre Pre-University College in 2016.

It gives us an immense sense of happiness and honour to place on records that the College caters to the needs of the inquisitive learners from sulia and its neighbouring places.

With the changing paradigms of education which hold no space for rote earning and passive listening, we will continue to provide our students with opportunities and situations that facilitate them to exhibit their hidden potential to the fullest. We strongly believe that today's generation has an unquenchable thirst to seek knowledge that cannot be satiated by traditional methods of teaching. The college with an infrastructure confirming to global standards and an array of opportunites to tap on individual talents is all set to edify the young learners keeping in view asynchronous growth of their body, mind and soul.
